2023年5月18日から21日、デンマークでドッグダンスの世界大会『world championship dog dance 2023』が開催されました。
その概要を大会公式HPより引用して以下に載せます。

We welcome the world’s best dogdancers to Herning!
And YOU are welcome to be part of this amazing experience as the audience.

From the 18th through 21st of May the Danish Kennel Club will be hosting the World Championships in Dogdancing. The perfect venue for the Championships is situated in Herning – more precisely the Messecenter Herning Hall B.

You will experience outstanding performances, fantastic costumes and creative props – all brought together in a symphony of perfection when the dogs and handlers perform their choreographed routines to music. Dogdancing consists of two separate disciplines – Heelwork To Music and Freestyle.

The competitors travel to Herning from alle over the world – Japan, England, Belgium, Hungary to mention but a few. You will also be able to cheer for our own National Team who won the World Championships in Herning in 2010 at the inaugural event.

D. 18.5. Training day. All the competitors have the opportunity to use the ring for training during the day. Later in the afternoon, the opening ceremony will take place.
D. 19.5 World Championships for teams - Heelwork To Music
D. 20.5 World Championships for teams – Freestyle
D. 21.5 Individual finals for Heelwork to Music and Freestyle – and the individual World Champions are celebrated.

椛がお世話になっている伊藤先生も、サニー君と出場し、大活躍でした。
我が家でも、ネットで視聴して大興奮。

伊藤先生の動画は、たぶん、近日中にサニーサイドドッグスのHPで見られると思います。
今回の伊藤先生の演技、小道具を日本酒の徳利からビールジョッキに変えるなど、ヨーロッパの人たちに分かりやすい工夫がされていました。
そうしたら、大うけでした。
やっぱり、世界中、酔っぱらいのお父さんの生態は共通なのでしょうか。

いずれにしても、伊藤先生をはじめ、日本チームは大健闘。
素晴らしかったです。
